Korean Camp

During our Korean Camp, students had the opportunity to experience Korean culture while learning the Korean language in a fun and interactive environment. The camp included a variety of activities such as making and eating kimbap, participating in Korean language quizzes, and playing traditional Korean games.
Through these activities, students were able to practice Korean naturally, learn more about Korean culture, and build friendships with one another. The camp was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories, making it a very special experience for all the students.
We hope that this camp helped students become more interested in the Korean language and culture, and we look forward to seeing them again in future programs.

TOPIK Celebration

We proudly celebrated the achievements of our students who successfully completed the TOPIK exam. This special occasion was held to recognize their hard work, dedication, and progress in learning the Korean language.
During the celebration, students shared their experiences, encouraged one another, and reflected on their learning journey. It was a meaningful moment that highlighted not only their academic success but also their growth in confidence and communication skills.
We are very proud of all our students and look forward to supporting them in their continued Korean language journey.

MOU Signing between MDIS and EduKorea @ MDIS

MDIS and EduKorea have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a cooperative partnership in education. Through this agreement, both institutions will work together to promote educational programs, student exchanges, and various academic collaborations.
This partnership aims to provide students with more diverse learning opportunities and international educational experiences. MDIS and EduKorea will continue to cooperate in developing programs such as language courses, camps, and cultural exchange programs.
We look forward to building a strong and meaningful partnership that will benefit students from both institutions.

English Camp @ MDIS

iSeodang and MDIS successfully conducted the English Camp twice. During the camp, students had the opportunity to learn English in a fun and interactive environment. Through various games, group activities, and speaking sessions, students were able to improve their English skills while building confidence and teamwork.
The camp focused on practical English used in daily life, and students were encouraged to communicate in English as much as possible. It was a meaningful experience where students could enjoy learning English, make new friends, and experience an international learning atmosphere.

Korean Culture Experience Event @ Sutera Mall

We brought the vibrant culture of Korea to Sutera Mall with an exciting event that featured hands-on activities for all ages. Visitors had the chance to participate in a Dalgona Tryout, inspired by the popular snack featured in Squid Game. We also hosted a Hanbok Tryout, where attendees could try on traditional Korean clothing and capture the moment with photos. It was a fantastic day of cultural immersion, offering a taste of Korea right here in our community.

CCA Lesson @ Ming Chih Primary School

We are excited to announce the launch of our Korean language program at Ming Chih Primary School as part of their co-curriculum activities. Starting from April 3, 2024, students have the opportunity to explore the Korean language and culture through engaging lessons, helping them broaden their global perspective and develop new skills.

Korean Malay bilingual speaking contest was held at MBIP Hall. 200 people, including participants and VIPs, participated in the event. A variety of events are held, including congratulatory performances, presentations by participants, and prizes.

iSeodang Honoured with MBIP’s Plaque of Appreciation

iSeodang Korean language centre, proudly received a plaque of appreciation from the city council of Johor Bahru Iskandar Puteri (MBIP). This honor was bestowed upon iSeodang in recognition of their active participation in the MBIP Carnival, where they hosted engaging Korean cultural activities. Their contribution significantly enriched the event, promoting cultural exchange and fostering a deeper understanding of Korean heritage within the community.
