Learning Hangul

Hangul is the alphabet used to write the Korean language. It was created in the 15th century by King Sejong the Great and his scholars to make reading and writing easier for everyone in Korea. Hangul is known for being simple and logical, with 14 basic consonants and 10 vowels that can be combined to form syllables. Each syllable block is made up of these letters, making it easy to learn and use.

Lesson Objectives

Able to read, write, speak and listen to the Korean alphabet and sentences.

Achieve basic communication abilities such as exchanging greetings and introducing oneself through our basic Korean language lessons for beginners.
