Corporate Workshops —
train your team in Korean, claim it with HRD Corp

iSeodang holds an HRD Corp training licence, so Malaysian employers can fund our Korean workshops directly from the HRD levy they already contribute. We currently teach at corporations, government agencies and universities across Malaysia — on-site at your workplace or at our centre in Johor.

HRD Corp Claimable Courses

Train your team. Let your levy pay for it.

iSeodang Korean Language Courses are HRD Corp Claimable. As a licensed training provider, we help you turn the levy your company already contributes into real skills for your people.

HRD Corp Claimable Courses is a dedicated programme designed to assist employers in retraining and upskilling their employees in line with their operational and business requirements.

HRD Corp’s vision is to secure Malaysia’s future through economic transformation of the country’s most valuable asset — its people. Ultimately, they aim to be a catalyst that drives the development of Malaysia’s current and future workforce as it pursues a high-income and advanced economy.

Registered employers contribute a monthly levy to HRD Corp — and that levy is exactly what pays for this workshop, so budget is rarely the obstacle.

1%

Monthly levy

Employers with 10 or more Malaysian employees contribute 1% of monthly wages to HRD Corp.

0.5%

Optional rate

Smaller employers with 5–9 Malaysian employees can register voluntarily at 0.5%.

Once your grant is approved, HRD Corp pays iSeodang directly from your levy — minimal upfront cost.

HRD Corp pays direct

Under SBL-Khas the course fee is paid to iSeodang from your levy account — not from your training budget.

Is my company eligible?

If your company is registered with HRD Corp and contributes the levy — mandatory for employers with 10 or more Malaysian employees in covered sectors, optional for 5–9 — you can apply to fund this training from your levy account.

Do we need to pay first?

Under the SBL-Khas scheme, once your grant is approved HRD Corp pays iSeodang directly from your levy, so your upfront cost is minimal. Approval must be in place before the course starts.

When should we apply?

Grant applications must be submitted before the training date — we recommend applying a few weeks ahead. Tell us your target dates and we will prepare the documents in time.

What if we are not registered with HRD Corp?

No problem — you can still book any workshop and we will simply invoice your company directly. The training itself is exactly the same.

Levy rates and scheme terms follow HRD Corp guidelines; grant approval is decided by HRD Corp. We provide the quotation, course outline and supporting documents for your application.
